Ballad Poem

WALT : Create a Ballad Poem.
In Room 6 we have been learning about Ballad Poems and making our own. A Ballad Poem is when the First Sentence Rhymes with another Sentence and the Second Sentence Rhymes with another and so on. For Example : ABAABB - Ground, Side, Round, Sound, Wide, Tide.
What I enjoyed doing was making my Ballad Poem.
Next time I will stick the my Plan.


My Pet Panda
ABAABB


A : Pandas are Great
B : They’re also very Cute
A : I found one in a Crate
A : And it was Eight
B : It didn’t want to eat Carrots or Fruits
B : But it wanted to eat some Bamboo Shoots

A : It is very Fluffy
B : It is very Soft
A : He is my Buddy
A : It likes places where they are very Sunny
B : And likes to get Washed
B : While using use Microsoft

A : It ate a “Million” Bamboo Shoots for Breakfast
B : And was quiet as a Library
A : I turned on the TV and started watch the Weather Forecast
A : While my Panda listened to the Radio Broadcast
B : At Noon I went to the Dairy
B : To buy my Panda a Precious Berry

A : It likes the Rain and to play and Puddles
B : And likes to play Games
A : It likes to play with Bubbles
A : While getting a Cuddle
B : It doesn’t like Fame
B : And doesn’t like getting Blamed


A : I love my Panda so very Much
B : And I’m glad he will be with me till the end of Time
A : My Panda likes to hide in the Hutch
A : As my hand gets Gently Clutched
B : It likes Tall Trees to Climb
B : But at the End of the Day it’s time for Bedtime

    I love this post about your ballad. I like how you have included the letters that rhyme with each other so it is easier to see what rhymes. You have done so well in this poem why did you choose to write about Pandas ?

    i love your poem the thing i loved most is how you put your pattern up the rhyming was awesome and i just think its pure gold
