Descriptive Writing

WALT : Use a range of figurative language to describe a moment in time.
It was a gloomy day. I was cold and soaked with water from head to toe.
The sound of lightning frightens me and the never ending rain was pouring down on
me. I find a house to take shelter. It looked old, abandoned, unstable and overgrown.

    Hey Alex I love the descriptive language. In the last line it says "I find a house to take shelter" But in the first line it says "It WAS a gloomy day"
