SLJ Practice Activity

For the bonus activity we have to post a picture of our favourite meal and why it was our favourite. My favourite meal is Chicken Pad Thai. I like this because it includes noodles, chicken and eggs! It is spicy but not to spicy.

My name is Mikey and I'm a part of the Summer Learning Journey team this year. It's so great to see that you've completed one of last year's activities as a little practice task - well done! :)

Pad Thai is a great choice! I went to Thailand a few years ago and it was actually one of my favourite things to eat while I was over there. I like how you can add the chilli flakes to make it spicier if you want. Are there any other Thai dishes that you like? I'm a BIG fan of Tom Yum soup too.

Great work on your first post. Make sure to check out this years teaser week activities on the Summer Learning Journey website https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities/2019-teaser-week-y6-8
There's lots of great tasks that I'm sure you'd enjoy.

I look forward to reading your next post. Until then, happy blogging! :)

  3. Kia Ora Alex! I really like how you added like the link to where you got it so then you know nothing will go wrong. I also really like how you explained what is in your favorite food. This made me think about eating now cause the picture is making me hungry! Maybe next time you could add the explanation like you said you needed to do.

    Overall good job!
