Yellow

Yellow

Yellow is the sun that has warm heat,
Yellow is the daffodil at my feet.

Yellow is the emoji that makes me smile,
Yellow is the gold I look at for a while.

Yellow is the lemon that is very sour,
Yellow is the chicken that gets older over an hour.

I love yellow because it makes me bright and happy.

  1. Hi Alex,
I really enjoyed reading your short poem about explaining/describing the color yellow. My favorite part is the first compound sentence. Next time, could you tell us about what type of poem this is?
    Thanks!

  3. i Alex,

You did an ok blog post,

I liked the part when you said yellow is the color of the emoji that makes you smile.
This reminds me when I did poems in my old school.
Maybe you should explain why you did it because people will think, why did he post that? And did he make it ?

    Kind regards Ian.

  7. Hi Alex, I really like your poem about yellow, and when you said that yellow is the emoji that makes me smile, I started laughing. I don't think you have anything to work on because you have magnificent rhyming skills, but I think that you could make the font yellow so that it is related to the poem. Was this poem for you favorite color?
